Share Your Perspective on PrEP

Amplifying our voice is a project to understand how we can better promote PrEP in the Deep South.

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) effectively prevents HIV acquisition, but HIV disproportionately affects gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men in the Deep South, compared to other regions of the United States.

Amplifying Our Voice is seeking information directly from a diversity of gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men to understand how they connect with HIV PrEP and prevention messages. Researchers at UAB are interested in understanding how we can better promote PrEP to the communities that need it most. By joining the study and sharing your perspective, you can participate in innovative crowdsourcing to create more authentic and informative PrEP messages throughout Southern communities.
